Our "I can" statements for the week of 4/9/2018:
Science: Understand that long and short-term weather changes occur due to changes in energy.
Math: I can tell time to the nearest hour, half hour, and five minutes.
Reading/English Language Arts: Identify and spell words with suffixes -s and -es; read and comprehend informational text; write a story with characters, setting, problem, and solution; learn the difference between present, past, and future tense verbs; and identify a compound sentence.
It is important for your child to read at least 20 minutes each day.
What's going on in S2TEM2: We made key chain tags for everyone's backpack to help students remember where to sit for Fantasy AR Tuesdays. Ask your child for the details.
We are also brainstorming PBL ideas with Mrs. Waller to help improve our school. Stay tuned...
Reminders: Please make sure your child is reading daily and taking the 5 required AR tests. Remember for the final grading period, students need to be reading and taking tests on 1 point (or higher) books.
