Our "I can" statements for the week of 12/4/2017:
Science: Identify that there are many kinds of animals, and they have certain needs.
Social Studies: Explain citizens' rights and responsibilities at home, at school, and in the community.
Math: I can build fluency with addition and subtraction.
Reading/English Language Arts: Identify and spell words with ck and double consonants; read and comprehend informational text; write a story with characters, setting, problem, and solution; learn the difference between singular and plural nouns; and identify a simple sentence.
It is important for your child to read at least 20 minutes each day.
Wednesday: Tonight's math homework (Pg. 203-204)is challenging. The students were to bring home page 200 because it explains the lesson we did in class. Have your child try his or her best. We'll discuss the answers in tomorrow's class.
What's going on in S2TEM2: We made musical instruments. Ask your child for the details.
We are also brainstorming PBL ideas with Mrs. Waller to help improve our school. Stay tuned...
Reminders: Please make sure your child is reading daily and taking the 5 required AR tests.
