Visit our beautiful campus anchored by St. Vincent de Paul Parish. Known in Akron as the “church on the hill”, St. Vincent de Paul Parish is a beautiful stone church with a history dating back to 1853.
Our school building is adjacent to our church and boasts three floors of state-of-the art classrooms. Each classroom contains wireless technology to accommodate iPads for student use as well as interactive Smart Boards for instruction. In addition to computers in each classroom, our school has an independent computer lab for student instruction which contains thirty desk-top computers as well as printers.
The Learning Resource Center in St. Vincent de Paul Parish School not only provides on-line access to our learner-favorite Accelerated Reader Program, but it also contains over 9800 books for learners to borrow for their reading pleasure and for research.
In 1996 St. Vincent de Paul Parish funded the construction of the St. Vincent Family Center. The Family Center houses some of our school’s most important learning spaces as well as spaces for our parish functions such as a full-size gymnasium with a stage, a dedicated Pre-Kindergarten Classroom to serve our youngest learners, meeting rooms for parish and school activities, and Corrigan Hall. Corrigan Hall is a large facility used during the school day as our learners’ cafeteria. Our parish and school groups also use the hall for large meetings, parish dinners, fundraisers and award ceremonies.
