Meet Our School

St. Vincent de Paul Parish School Update

June 2, 2019

Summer Vacation is Here!

I pray that our St. Vincent de Paul Parish School families have begun to relax and enjoy this time with each other.  Before you know it, August will be here, and we will be back at school.

Because of you, I am blessed to be here! Many wonderful developments happened this past school year.  Thank you for your prayerful and financial support! Through the Capital Campaign we have new heating and cooling units, new windows, our building was spray washed and the brick was pin-tucked. Through other funding we have a new school brand and sign to identify our school. We also have two beautiful paintings of both Jesus and Mary with school age children to greet you at our front door. Our faculty and staff worked hard implementing the Diocesan Curriculum and participated in many professional development sessions.

Additional building and curriculum improvements are in the plans for next school year. Through Rooted in Faith grants we are transforming a classroom into a Chapel and developing a morning broadcast show that our students will create and participate in. Through the Boosterthon fundraiser we are able to add a security door near our entrance and additional security cameras throughout the school campus. In addition, we will be implementing a new school website, new information system and a new Family/Student Handbook.

Our students first day back to school is Tuesday, August 27th. There will be a curriculum night and open house the week before school begins. The date and time will be announced once the church/school calendar is in place.

Have a blessed and safe summer.

Peace and blessings,
