Foreign Language

In this global age, it is essential that a complete education include the study of a foreign language. This study is all the more important in a Christian education since Christ has commanded us to put no limits on our concept of neighbor. There is no better way to reach an appreciation of other cultures than the study of a second language, nor any better aid to understanding one’s own.

Our Spanish program at St. Vincent Elementary School includes grades Kindergarten through Eight grade. Each grade meets for Spanish twice a week for 25 minutes. Students practice listening skills, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing.
