School and Parish Community Functions

Program Committee*
Volunteers assist the Program committee chair to plan and implement
programs 3-4 times during the school year. All programs are meant to
support and enhance parental education. Programs typically include an
invited speaker who presents and educational topic. Some examples of past
programs include sports medicine, bullying and child discipline. New ideas
are always welcome.

Happy Birthday Jesus Party/Breakfast with Santa*
This event takes place on a Saturday morning in December and is a
Children’s Christmas party for members of our parish and our students.
Volunteers coordinate the breakfast, a raffle, entertainment, crafts,
photography and a visit with Santa.

Good Samaritan*
Volunteers contribute food to provide occasional meals for parish and school
families who have a need such as birth or family emergency. Typically you
will be given a series of days to choose from for particular family and asked
to contribute an entrée and bread of a salad and dessert.

CYO Sports*
Volunteers coach or assistant coach for girls and boys sporting teams.
Please specify the sport, grade and gender of the term(s) you would like to
be involved with.

Hospitality Committee*
Volunteers assist with set up and clean up all school and church programs.
Example: decorate and set up refreshment tables for the school open house.

Welcoming Committee*
Volunteers commit to contacting new school families. In this way we
provide these families support and welcome to our school and parish
community. This may also help new families become involved in and
informed about school activities and functions. This responsibility typically
begins during the summer months with school registration and continues
throughout the year.

come to pray one specific Wednesday each month (every first Wednesday,
every second Wednesday, etc.) ideally each Wednesday will include four to
five parents together in prayer.

*Denotes volunteer positions that can be carried out after school, during
