Red Nose Day is a international campaign
dedicated to raising money for children and
young people living in poverty by simply
having fun and making people laugh.
SVDP participated on May 21 with the wearing of
Red Noses and by collecting canned soup
for our parish food pantry -
feeding children across the country and
in our own community!
Thank you for your support!
We prefer to meet our prospective families in person. Therefore, we do not mail out enrollment paperwork or applications and there is not an application available on our website. Please call the school office to set up a visit, we are proud to show you our school!
St. Vincent de Paul Parish School has always been, and will continue to be, a small, highly academic, Catholic school. Our mission is to develop young Catholic men and women with creative minds, a sense of understanding for one another, and the abiity to change the world, while keeping Christ in our mind, body and heart.
We enjoy the opportunity to serve our learners and aim to develop independent, collaborative, and generous learners who help to create a better world through global respect and understanding, with real-world application and problem-solving strategies, all while keeping Christ in our mind, body, and heart.
Our school participates in many of the State of Ohio programs including the Ed Choice voucher program. However, we are not in the position to take as many children as are eligible for the voucher who would like to attend our school. We do have a limit to the number of children we will accept.
School Closing Information:
When the need arises to close the school, each family will receive a recorded message from our principal via our All-call system. In addition, we inform the three major Cleveland TV Stations: ABC, FOX, and NBC. Please watch for the announcement of our school as it is known in the Diocese: "St. Vincent de Paul-Akron". Our school is not "St. Vincent-St. Mary" and we do not make joint decisions with St V-M High School about when to close school.
Also: All three of the above TV stations offer free texting services to alert you of your school closing. See their websites for details.
