We prefer to meet our prospective families in person.  Therefore, we do not mail out enrollment paperwork or applications and there is not an application available on our website.

Our mission at St. Vincent Elementary School has always been, and will continue to be, to be a small, highly academic, Catholic school.  We enjoy the opportunity to serve our students and help them grow spiritually, academically, and socially. 

Our school participates in many of the State of Ohio programs including the Ed Choice voucher program. However, we are not in the position to take as many children as are eligible for the voucher who would like to attend our school. We do have a limit to the number of children we will accept. 

Again, our mission is to be a small, highly academic, Catholic school and we hold true to that mission.

School Closing Information:

When the need arises to close the school, we inform the three major Cleveland TV Stations:  ABC, FOX, and NBC.  Please watch for the announcement of our school as it is known in the Diocese: "St. Vincent de Paul-Akron".  Our school is not "St. Vincent-St. Mary's" and we do not make joint decisions with St V-M High School about when to close school.

If internet service is available, we will announce the school closing on this front page of our website.   Also:  All three of the above TV stations offer free texting services to alert you of your school closing.  See their websites for details.
